“How To Make A Netflix Level Self-Tape”
An intensive 3-day cinematic acting masterclass in Thessaloniki
Actor and producer Nikky Athan comes to Thessaloniki for a unique 3-day acting intensive dedicated to modern on-camera acting and professional self-tapes for television, film, and international productions.
“How To Make A Netflix Level Self Tape” is a practical masterclass based on the real demands of today’s industry, giving actors the tools to create truthful, cinematic, and professional self-tapes that stand out.
In an era where most auditions take place online, the self-tape has become an actor’s most important first impression. The masterclass focuses not only on technique, but above all on truth, instinct, and cinematic presence in front of the camera.
Past Hosted Activities

Two-Day Seminar with Sofia Paschou
A theatre that does not rely on sets, costumes, or lighting. A theatre that places the actor — the human element — at its centre. One that is built on human imagination and ingenuity. A theatre for our time. We already have the tools we need: the body, the voice, the imagination. In this seminar, we will learn how to use them. Through exercises and techniques drawn from Lecoq’s pedagogy, we will discover that these tools are the only ones we need to create the theatre we want. Our own theatre.
Organised by Theatre T, the seminar with Sofia Paschou is open to theatre, dance and circus professionals (actors, directors, dancers, choreographers, acrobats, performers, etc.), as well as students of relevant vocational schools. Non-professionals with significant experience are also welcome to express their interest in participating.
Improvisation seminar with Dimitris Samolis “From trauma to miracle”
Actor, writer and songwriter Dimitris Samolis is organizing a unique four-hour seminar dedicated to the power of transformation for the first time in Thessaloniki. The seminar aims to explore an actor’s ability to transform what he considers obstacles, flaws or traumas into a source of inspiration and creativity.
Through experiential improvisations, creative exercises and open discussion, participants are invited to redefine their perception of the difficulties they face. With a different perspective, we learn to embrace what makes us feel uncomfortable and transform it into art, discovering new paths of expression and personal development.
A seminar that is not only aimed at actors, but at every person who is looking for a way to transform the challenges of their life into creative power.

Four-day Seminar with actress Efi Stamouli
How can the poetic discourse and the great emotions of classical texts (Euripides and Shakespeare) be articulated or interpreted in small-scale spaces?
How can the “size” and poetics of a non-everyday discourse be maintained in a communication, on the one hand high-temperature and, on the other, low-key and “everyday immediacy”?
Organised by Theatre T, the seminar with Efi Stamouli is aimed at Theatre professionals, graduates and students of Drama Schools as well as people with significant previous theatre experience.
Dancing with Confidence: Managing Audition Anxiety
Have you ever felt like anxiety is holding you back before an audition, performance, or dance competition? You know you’ve prepared, but the pressure of the moment is holding you back?
Join Chrisa Psomiadou’s workshop to learn how to turn anxiety into confidence! In this hybrid seminar (in person & online), you explore through the tools of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) to:
- control your thoughts before an audition
- gain composure and concentration on stage
- bring out the best version of yourself
Two-Day Seminar with Director George Koutlis
Theatre T present a two-day seminar aimed at theater professionals, graduates and students of Drama Schools.
Using basic methodological tools (suggested conditions, event, interior monologue, second shot, etc.), and based on material from the dramaturgy of A.P. Chekhov, participants will enter the creative process of “translating” a theatrical work into stage language.
Through trials and failures and the alternation of theory and practice, participants will come into contact with the tools of acting, with Chekhov’s imaginary universe and with the function of play as an essential element of theatrical rehearsal.
